The admission got Marcus to raise his eyebrow a little at his co-worker, mainly because of similar circumstances that had happened between them before. Marcus could have made a comment here but decided to not bring it up. If Vash was remembering too, they could do so individually without saying so.

"Actual sick, or are we talking about another sickness brought on by the city?" He kept talking to keep the plant engaged, knowing that it probably hurt like hell. "Guess you're going to get another scar to add to your collection." Dabbing up the extra rubbing alcohol, Marcus finally started patching the area up with some gauze bandages and called it done.

"You okay to move?" Marcus wanted to move Vash to somewhere more comfortable before seeing what he could do about helping clean up the mess of the apartment, assuming things were still the way they were. With how strange this all happened, Marcus couldn't be sure the makeshift lab area would still be there when they went back into Vash's bedroom. He wasn't even sure where those 'scientists' disappeared to either.
