Marcus got up to walk over to the table, while pulling out the phone to give work a call. In all their morning excitement, it had slipped his mind completely. Explaining that an emergency situation happened and neither he nor Vash could make it in to work today, Cain hung up then went back to studying the literally bloody thing.
