knives and vash - cyberpunk
Vash gets no warning when he's transported into this new world. One moment, he's in one city, the next he's slumped over in an alley of a completely different one. This new city is massive and overpoweringly noisy and smelly. The stink of the nearby dumpster probably doesn't help.
Outside of the alley, Vash is met with massive buildings, shiny streets soaked by rain, and reflections of bright neon signs. There's the traffic of wheeled cars and bikes on the ground and above head flying vehicles that whiz back and forth.
The people around seem worn down and grimy, trudging through the bad weather towards tiny apartments or soul-crushing jobs, even as massive floating advertisements show glamorous models selling luxury items high above.
It's during Vash's initial exploration when someone grabs his arm. The man is massive and seems to be made of muscle in a way far beyond normal bodybuilding. His eyes have been replaced by black orbs with a small red light in the center. His teeth are sharp metal spikes.
"Found ya," he claims. "Changing yer hairstyle don't work when you wear a big stupid coat, ya know. Sticks out like a fucken target. Bullseye."
