Bad End Part 6 - Never let the pain stop

Things only continue to get worse. Vash continues to spiral and loose himself the more the mind breaking continues. The mages continue to use Cyril like he's nothing but a toy to use and throw away. Yet, any chance they have to have together the love Vash and Cyril share together stays strong. For now that remains unbroken. With every day only getting worse that will continue to be challenged.

Cyril tries to look Vash in the eye. He may be disappointed by the way Vash's eyes drift to the side towards Cyril's shoulder. He tries to do it slowly and not draw attention to it, but as he's looking for it, it will be easy for Cyril to spot.

"You said that before. How? What do you need to get comfortable?"

"I--" He swallows. "The change they did to us. It makes me..." Horny. Aroused. Needy. All words he tries to say, but can't seem to make his mouth form the words. "...feel... hot."

Knives is quiet for a moment. "Then go cool down," he says after a moment. "Take another walk if you need to."

"I've tried. It-- it's not working." He turns to face away from his brother. "I don't know what I'm doing wrong. I didn't use to be like this when I was... with them." He can guess the reason is that there was constant sex happening while he was a prisoner. Keeping his managed body satisfied enough that he hadn't noticed.

Knives grunts. "What do you need then? What will make you stop fidgeting?"

Vash feels something go cold in the pit of his stomach. "Sex. That's probably the only way to fix me these days."

[samahl]

Knives is quiet for a moment. "Then go take a walk and get Lavellan," he says.

For a long moment, Vash is quiet. "No. I don't want to bother him with this anymore. I can't keep calling him out in the dead of night for my problems."

Knives rolls his eyes. "Fine. Then I'll go get him." he moves to get up.

Same - hope you sleep well!

"No!" Vash sits up quickly and grabs his brother's arm. "Please, leave him be."

[samahl]

Knives stops then, looking over at Vash. "Then you tell me how you want to fix this."

[goldenglasses]

"I don't know. This is all pretty new to me too." How did Cyril put up with this?

Then a thought comes to Vash. Cyril use to go to taverns and find partners to be with. Back before Vash was ready to admit his feelings towards the elf even to himself.

Perhaps... there was still a way to solve this without his brother's help.

"Maybe I will go for a walk." He'll go into town. The pub might still be open. Maybe there will be someone who would be interested in him.

He considers his scars under his clothes.

Maybe someone who will be interested in him keeping his clothes on or at least be in the dark.

(Thinking this town is too small/nice and he won't find anyone. Or he sees Knives and/or Cyril's spies and he chickens out. So he still has to go running back to Knives in the end. Or- if you think it could be interesting, he could find a rando to sleep with.)

Knives lies back down. "Fine. Do that," he says simply. He lets Vash go then, not really keeping tabs on him other than just making sure he doesn't get too far.

Cyril can sense that Vash is closer when he gets to the town. He's confused by that, but because Vash isn't coming to him, he ignores it for now. Instead, he goes back inside to try to get some sleep.

It doesn't go well for Vash. There are very few people about and he feels so awkward and shy that he can't even muster the words to ask for what he wants.

A nice older gentleman suggests some soup his wife makes as Vash looks rather ill. He Vash tells the man where he lives they'll bring some around.

It's at that point that Vash gives up to head back to the cabin. His body even more aroused being so close to Cyril that he looks even worse and FEELS worse by the time he walks in the door.

Knives is awake when Vash comes home. He looks up and glares. "You didn't fix it."

[goldenglasses]

"No..." He says softly and makes an attempt to lay back down. "It didn't work."

[samahl]

"Go to Lavellan then," Knives says. "You'll only get worse and then you'll be even more useless when it comes to protecting the boys."

Vash ends up biting his lips so hard it starts to bleed. Knives isn't wrong, but he can't go to Cyril about this. He's still not sure what he did so wrong before.

"Knives... would...?" He trails off. Stomach churning at the thought of what he had just been about to ask.

[samahl]

Knives's glare narrows. "Would you like me to go get him?"

[goldenglasses]

"No. No. Hmm..." One last thought before he asks for the unthinkable. "But, do you think... maybe one of your spies might be, um, interested?"

[samahl]

Knives raises his brow. Then, after a moment, he growls and gets up. For a second, it seems like he's moving towards Vash, but then he goes past him and heads outside.

Vash hates the way his body seems to leap with excitement when it seems his brother is coming towards him. Maybe Knives will even smell the lust wafting odd his brother.

Then his stomach drops as Knives heads towards the door. "Knives?" He gets up. Planning on following his brother out of the cabin.

[samahl]

Knives freezes and turns to look at Vash. "Stay with the boys," he says with a harsh tone. "You absolutely are not permitted to leave them unsupervised."

"Where are you going?"

"Did you just ask me to find someone to help you?"
