Bad End Part 6 - Never let the pain stop

Things only continue to get worse. Vash continues to spiral and loose himself the more the mind breaking continues. The mages continue to use Cyril like he's nothing but a toy to use and throw away. Yet, any chance they have to have together the love Vash and Cyril share together stays strong. For now that remains unbroken. With every day only getting worse that will continue to be challenged.

Cyril tries to look Vash in the eye. He may be disappointed by the way Vash's eyes drift to the side towards Cyril's shoulder. He tries to do it slowly and not draw attention to it, but as he's looking for it, it will be easy for Cyril to spot.

"Mhmm." Vash starts to say that he will, but he's already drifting off. At first simply laying next to his brother, but it won't take long before he's shifting closer to the warm body sharing a bed with him.

If Knives is curious about his brother's dreams, he could look in on them, but for now he's mostly still as he sleeps.

[samahl]

Knives doesn't intrude again. Instead, he lightly wraps his arm around Vash and lets his brother sleep. Eventually, he does doze off a little himself, but he doesn't really need to sleep so it's not a deep slumber.

For several hours Vash sleeps soundly. Perhaps too tired to even dream.

Towards the morning, something changes. Vash begins to shift a little and presses himself closer to his brother. He doesn't seem to be in distress. Especially when it seems like he's trying to press his groin into his brother.

alrighty i'm gonna head to bed. have a good night!

Knives opens his eyes when Vash starts to press against him. He grunts and gently shakes Vash. "Vash... You're dreaming again."

Have a good sleep!

Vash groans and tries to stay asleep. Finally having a good dream about being with Cyril. He just wants to stay in this moment forever with his lover. Without opening his eyes, Vash mumbles something intelligible and tries to push his brother's hand away.

[samahl]

Knives makes a soft, frustrated sound but stops trying to shake him. "Fine," he says under his breath.

Vash settles, not grinding again immediately, but he snuggles up close to his brother. Even if he's no longer moving much, it may be hard not to notice that he's growing stiffer in his sleep.

[samahl]

Knives tries to ignore it. He closes his eyes and loosely wraps an arm around Vash.

With a soft sigh, Vash rests his head against his brother. Feeling those arms around him does nothing to ease the morning wood he was getting, but he also didn't seem bothered by it.

If no one bothers them, Vash will sleep for about another hour before he senses his sons starting to stir. That is what finally wakes him with a lazy yawn.

Knives keeps his eyes closed as Vash starts to stir, letting his brother come to naturally.

Quiz night is starting so going quiet now until half time!

[goldenglasses]

With a yawn, Vash gets up without noticing what his body is doing. "I'm coming, Alex. I'm coming." He's still half asleep as he moves to pick up his son and rock him.

i'm probably going to bed early tonight so i hope you have fun!!

Knives slowly opens his own eyes and considers Vash. "Hn. You squirm a lot when you sleep."

Sleep well!

[goldenglasses]

"Sorry." Vash mindlessly bounces his son. "I haven't been sleeping well."

[samahl]

Knives moves to get up to help with the other baby. "It's simply an observation," he says.

It's about then that Vash notices his problem. Luckily it's quickly dying away just being awake. "Sorry, you don't have to sleep with me tonight."

Knives shakes his head. "You slept. Without a nightmare. It worked. That's what matters."

[goldenglasses]

"Yeah, I suppose." He keeps his back turned. Trying to will his boner to die faster. Had Knives seen it? Oh God... had he felt it?

No, he's pretty sure his brother would have said something if he did. "And it wasn't too bad? Too boring for you? Laying still at night?"

[samahl]

Knives is quiet for a moment. "It wasn't boring."

[goldenglasses]

"Yeah?" He decides he's too nervous to ask for more details. "I'm glad you weren't too annoyed and bored."

Thinking his shame is down enough, Vash begins to move to get the twins fed.

"Did you have ideas of what you wanted to do today?" Vash would like to do more work for the town people and to go and try to find Cyril at some point.

[samahl]

"I was thinking that I'd spend some time with my nephews. I spent a lot of time traveling to ensure they were protected. It would be nice to spend some time getting to know them." Plus, if he can control how they learn, he can make sure they have the messages that he thinks they need to know, not whatever stupid nonsense his brother will prioritize.

[goldenglasses]

"So, you'd be okay to watch them again? If I go out for a bit? I would like to get a good sense of the area around us."

[samahl]

Knives nods. "I would appreciate it," he says.

[goldenglasses]

"They seemed to enjoy the toys yesterday. Maybe I'll see if I can find another one or two." He gives his son a kiss on his head before starting to offer the child his breakfast.

[samahl]

Knives helps to feed and clean up the boys after. Then he sets to getting them dressed and ready for the day. "They can probably use some baths..." he admits after a moment. "We'll have to figure all of that out when we're out here."

"They're small enough that it shouldn't take much to bring a few buckets of water here. I'll be sure to bring some back. Soap too."
